Who maintains this toolkit
Hi, I’m Fiona Parker, a BSI-qualified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, and I lead the ISO 9001 practice at Iseo Blue. Before auditing other people’s systems I spent six years running one: I built the integrated ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management system at a UK critical power systems contractor from scratch and took it through initial certification, four years of surveillance and recertification.
Before that I spent two decades assessing how organisations actually work, including seven years as an ITIL consultant and trainer at Pink Elephant and nearly seven years at McLaren, latterly as Head of IT Support Services. These templates are the documents I would want in front of me on day one of a QMS build: lean, practical and written for the people who will use them rather than for an imagined auditor.

Is it really free?
Yes — the full toolkit, free to download. We ask for your email so we can send it and share the occasional useful tip. Unsubscribe whenever you like.
What format are the documents?
Editable Microsoft Word and Excel files, ready to tailor. Nothing locked, nothing you can’t change.
Will the toolkit get me certified on its own?
No toolkit can promise that — but this provides you with the complete set of documents and the records auditors look for. If you’d like help getting over the line, coaching is there.
ISO 9001:2015 or the new 2026 version?
Both. The toolkit has been updated for ISO 9001:2026, published on 16 September 2026, and its structure still maps to ISO 9001:2015, the edition most certified organisations hold today. If you are certified to 2015, use it now and transition within the three-year window.
Do I need the coaching to use it?
Not at all. The toolkit is designed to stand on its own. Coaching is simply there if you’d like support. If you are confident with 9001, tailoring it to your organisation, and rolling up your sleeves to get it done, then it shouldn’t be a blocker.
What about ISO 27001 Information Security?
