IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLKIT
Run IT projects with control, not chaos.
Simplify and standardise your IT project selection and delivery. Light process and guidance — from evaluating a project idea and rapid estimation, through to delivery and closure.
I’ve run IT projects for 30 years. I built and refined this toolkit over time, and perfected it for SMEs that want control without being overwhelmed by bureaucracy.

Why I Created This Toolkit
Every organisation I walked into ran on chaos.
What I kept walking into
Projects ran grossly over budget and timescales
Estimates were wildly wrong — and weaponised
Analysis paralysis hindered progress
The wrong projects were being delivered
Project success depended entirely on individuals
Poor communication across the board
What this toolkit does about it
Enough structure to give you “rails” — but not so much it hinders progress
A rapid estimation and project selection process
A repeatable process with simple guides anyone can follow
The toolkit I wish I’d had when I first tried to bring order to messy, part-time projects
More than just templates — a complete, adaptable framework

who it’s for
This is for you if…
You manage projects alongside your day job and want a clear, simple framework.
You’re an IT or operations manager who needs to bring consistency to how work is run.
You support a small PMO or governance function and want something lighter than full PRINCE2 or PMBOK.
You’re a consultant or team lead who wants ready-made documents to roll out to clients or colleagues.
You don’t need to be a certified project manager to use this. The language is plain, and every document explains its own purpose.

what you’ll be able to do
From idea to closure — under control.
01
Choose the right projects
Use simple, structured demand management and prioritisation templates to start the right work.
02
Start on a solid footing

Break work into manageable tasks, estimate effort, plan resources and understand risk.
04
Run without chaos
RAID logs, status reports, issue and change management tools that keep everyone aligned.
05
Monitor and control
Act on problems early — not after the damage is already done.

You don’t need to be a certified project manager to use this. The language is plain, and every document explains its own purpose.

Scale up or down

The toolkit is designed so you can scale governance up or down depending on the size and risk of each project. Use it for a whole team, or just for your own work.

You’re purchasing a licence to use these documents within your own organisation (or for your own client work). You can customise them freely — but you can’t resell them as your own toolkit.
“The toolkit goes beyond what I expected and includes process guidance. I found the project selection process especially useful.”

questions & answers
Before you buy
No. The toolkit is designed for people who run projects in the real world, whether or not they have formal PM qualifications. The guides explain what each document is for and when to use it.
It isn’t an implementation of PRINCE2 or PMBOK. It takes the useful, common project ideas — clear stages, governance and documentation — and trims them into something lighter that most teams will actually use.
All documents are provided in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint formats. They open in most compatible office suites too, but the layout is designed with Microsoft Office in mind.
Yes — they’re meant to be customised. Add your branding, tweak the sections and adapt the language to your organisation.
Yes, within your organisation. You can roll the toolkit out to multiple teams as your standard way of running projects. If you want to use it commercially across multiple external clients, get in touch to discuss licensing.
If you feel the templates pack isn’t as described, and doesn’t meet your needs, then you can contact me via info@iseoblue.com and I will explore a refund with you, based on the reasoning. I’m sure you can understand that once you have the toolkit, it’s not returnable like a physical product is.
